Hull City Manager Shota Arveladze Sacked
Hull City have sacked manager Shota Arveladze after a poor start to the Championship season.
The Tigers have won just one of their first seven league games and sit 19th in the table. Arveladze was appointed in January and led Hull to safety in the Championship last season.
Assistant manager Peter van der Veen has also left the club.
In a statement, Hull said: "The club would like to thank Shota and Peter for their efforts during their time at the MKM Stadium and wish them all the best for the future."
Hull are now searching for their third manager in less than a year. Grant McCann was sacked in January after a poor run of form and Arveladze was appointed as his replacement.
The Tigers are now without a manager and it is unclear who will take charge of the team for their next game against Cardiff City on Saturday.
